good, bad, and in between

good

1. I get to see my mom and sister tomorrow
2. I'm excited to have a nice long weekend away from Hume
3. My work day is almost over
4. I've eaten pretty healthy so far
5. I got to lay out during my lunch break, which I love

bad

1. I'm completely overwhelmed with everything I have to get done before flying out tomorrow
2. I'm not looking forward to the next month or so
3. I'm out of shape, and that sucks
4. Money worries me right now
5. I have something in my eye and it's pissing me off

in between

1. I could be satisfied with my arms and abs, but the rest is crap
2. Teaching PE will be rad, but it's so overwhelming to think about
3. Soon, I'll have more time at home, but I'm pretty sure I wont feel like I have more time at all
4. This weekend is going to be amazing, but I hate that Christopher isn't coming
5. I love that Jade gets to come to work with me, but my office is a mess and it's driving me crazy

hip-hip hooray

...for super low rise jeans, that is. (catch the pun, did ya?) Otherwise I'd have to wear sweat pants or some other awful and frumpy compromise for pants.

this is after a few good days of healing... tasty, right?

gosh, it's about time

Haley is finally home from San Diego. She was only gone a month, but it seems SO much longer. I missed her so much! So did Jade. Almost to the point of annoyance. lol, "Haley go? Haley go? Play Haley..." on and on and on it went for a month straight. Jade is a happy girl now that Haley's back. And So am I! I miss having my friend around. I can't wait to go get coffee with her and just hang out. :)
I love you Haley!

worth a chuckle or two

This is my friend, Nina.
I wonder if she reads my blog
............................................................

I think this is a good way to find out.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I luff these ones.....

Christopher and I went out on a ride this evening while Haley watched Jade for us. It was such a fun ride and perfect weather. It started raining, which made my heart happy.
The ride was going great. I actually got some air on a couple of small jumps. That was fun. On the way back down I hit a ditch wrong and ate crap. First time to go down on my bike. Somehow one of the wheels ended up on top of me and I still don't know how I managed that. I'm just glad to finally have fallen. Now it's not so scary. :)

quarter of a century

This is a late post, but I thought I'd do it anyway. I turned 25 last month. Old.. I know. Blah. I didn't think I'd mind getting old, but as it turns out, I'm not a fan. I just feel like I should have accomplished so much more in life than I have by now. And I don't care what anybody says, being married isn't an accomplishment! So stop saying that. To me, an accomplishment is something worked for and earned. It should be something strived for.

Regardless of what I think or how I feel, my birthday came and went. And I have to say it was a great one! Christopher planned this whole wonderful thing for me. He set it up for Jade to stay with John and Alex for the night, then he took me down the hill and took me out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Yoshino. We stayed in this great hotel with a Jacuzzi tub in our room and everything. The next day he took me shopping wherever I wanted to go. I got SO MUCH stuff that I love.

I have to say, growing old wont be so bad as long as I have Christopher around to spoil me. :)

I love this boy.

oh, so happy

Coffee. Big Truck. Dirt Bikes.

Ahh... it's a good life I've got.
We were on our way home from picking up our dirt bikes. Such a happy little picture, don't you think?

Mmmmm...

My change supply wont last forever. I think I am going to buy this....

what do you think?

very, very, verily

You know those people who pay with exact change every chance they get? My husband is 'king' of said folks. I, on the other hand, am not one of them. I don't know what causes the difference. What makes a person one or the other? Maybe it's laziness on my part, or perhaps too much pressure to count small coins quickly and accurately while there's a big sweaty man impatiently standing behind me in line. Even if it were all true, it's never been enough to create the intentions to change the way I pay. As a result of not paying with change, I end up with more change. And more change. Oh, and then even more change.

Some people get very irritated with my type. Too bad. I've been told that it's wasteful. But that's not true because I've been putting all my change to very, very, very good use. Ok, maybe I was a little over zealous with the 'very's. Three verys might imply that I'm using my change to save lives or achieve world peace. So perhaps I'll suffice it to say I've been putting all my change to very good use. You see, I've been using all my change to buy my daily caramel macchito. What a way to start every morning at work. I'll admit that I don't like black coffee much, so it has to be a froofy, perfectly frothed, caramely sort of drink. Having such a lovely start to the day truly makes me a nicer person because lets face it, I'm addicted now. So, on second thought, I think I AM putting all my change to very, very, very good use. In fact, I would say that by me getting my fix, I am less likely to become uncontrolably violent, thus saving lives. As it makes me a much calmer, pleasant person to be around, it counts toward world peace as well.
